Baseball Recap: Knox Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Knox can now relate to. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They have struggled against the Jimmies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Knox's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Jimtown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jimtown, they will challenge Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jimmies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
