Baseball Recap: Arnold Marlins vs. Bay Tornadoes
Arnold had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bay Tornadoes 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Arnold.
Arnold got a big performance out of Mason Bean, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Tripp Cameron, who went 2-for-2 with a stolen base and two RBI.
On Bay's side, they got a good showing from Andrew Scott, who tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
At the plate, Bay saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Pascoe, who went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Arnold is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which somehow isn't as good as their 21-4 record this season. As for Bay, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-14.
