Basketball Recap: Oneonta Takes a Loss

Oneonta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norwich Purple Tornado. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 53-38 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oneonta now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Norwich, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Oneonta has already played their next matchup (against Seton Catholic Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Norwich, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Susquehanna Valley at 7:15 p.m.
