Basketball Recap: Southwest Florida Christian Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Imagine School at North Port came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Southwest Florida Christian, but Asa Rogosich wouldn't allow it. The Southwest Florida Christian King's walked away with a 62-54 victory over the Imagine School at North Port Sharks on Thursday thanks in part to Rogosich, who went 13 of 28 on his way to 36 points and seven rebounds. That makes it 20 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Southwest Florida Christian's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kru Voltz, who posted two points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

Imagine School at North Port lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Wesley Woods, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points and five rebounds. Zahmir Jackson was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Southwest Florida Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11. As for Imagine School at North Port, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-10.

Southwest Florida Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 76-60 defeat against Seacrest Country Day on the 31st. Imagine School at North Port has also already played their next game, a 61-54 loss against Parrish Community on the 1st.
