Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Murphy). Everything went their way against the Andrews Wildcats on Tuesday as they made off with a 25-5 win. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Paisley Johnson made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

In other batting news, Piper Dalton was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emma Laney, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, three doubles, and three RBI.

Murphy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
