Basketball Game Preview: Hoover Buccaneers vs. Chelsea Hornets + How To Watch

The Hoover Buccaneers will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Chelsea Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hoover's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hoover beat Collierville 63-58.

Meanwhile, Chelsea made easy work of Fort Payne on Tuesday and carried off a 62-37 victory. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.

Chelsea has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points over those games. As for Hoover, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Hoover beat Chelsea 62-51 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Will the Buccaneers repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
