Lincoln HomeSchool came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 58-42 victory over the Wichita Defenders HomeSchool Defenders. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 47th in Nebraska, while the Defenders are ranked 149th in Kansas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lincoln HomeSchool is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Wichita Defenders HomeSchool, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-7.
