Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield lost against West Liberty back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Comets by a score of 2-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for West Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Fairfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Beckman on the 13th. As for West Liberty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alburnett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
