Volleyball Recap: Lisle Takes a Loss

The Lisle Lions didn't have quite enough to beat the Glenbard South Raiders on Thursday and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Lisle sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 25-16.

Sophia Harer paced Lisle's offense, picking up 11 kills. Harer got some help from Anna Gorzkowski and her 16 assists. Gorzkowski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lisle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Glenbard South, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Lisle will take on Morris at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Glenbard South, they will challenge Fenwick at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
