Soccer Recap: Fillmore Wins Going Away Against Malibu

Fillmore won the last time they faced Malibu and things went their way on Friday too. The Fillmore Flashes put the hurt on the Malibu Sharks with a sharp 4-1 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Flashes considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Malibu with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abe De La Cruz (2), Diego Magana, and Jesus Angel Avila.

Fillmore's victory bumped their record up to 10-4-4. As for Malibu, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4-2.

Fillmore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Malibu, they will square off against Nordhoff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Malibu is facing Nordhoff at the right time seeing as Nordhoff is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
