After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ellendale, the Maple Valley Raiders were happy to have found some success on Saturday. Everything went their way against Enderlin as Maple Valley made off with a 59-34 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Maple Valley has managed all season.

Enderlin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ayden Glarum, who scored six points along with nine rebounds. Glarum set a new season high mark in steals with two. Karson Gruba was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

Maple Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Enderlin, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Maple Valley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Enderlin at 7:30 p.m. Enderlin will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Maple River at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Maple River will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 288th in Minnesota, while Enderlin is ranked 109th in North Dakota).
