Baseball Recap: Comeaux Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Comeaux's offense. They fell 5-0 to the David Thibodaux Bulldogs on Friday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Comeaux has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for David Thibodaux, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.

Coming up, Comeaux will head out to challenge Westminster Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for David Thibodaux, they will face off against Houma Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
