The Atlantic Eagles will face off against the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Atlantic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Northeast with a sharp  3-0 victory.
 Atlantic was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19,  25-21.

  Grace Vega was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had eight  aces. Those  eight  aces gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Colette Simon, who  had eight  kills, four  aces,  and one  block.
Meanwhile, Dr. Joaquin Garcia waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Cougars.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Dr. Joaquin Garcia took every set by at least 20 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-5,  25-4.
Atlantic better focus on containing  Sophia Hagerty and  Sophia Bui as the pair were huge in Dr. Joaquin Garcia's win. Hagerty  had five  aces and two assists, while  Bui  had seven  assists and four  aces. Hagerty is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in each of the last five games she's  played.
 Dr. Joaquin Garcia  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 26  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
 Atlantic's record now sits at 6-9. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, their record is now 13-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  matchup:  Atlantic has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 8  aces per game. However, it's not like Dr. Joaquin Garcia struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8.9  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
