Baseball Recap: Chilton County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Talladega last Tuesday, Chilton County came back down to earth. Chilton County lost 7-0 to the Har-Ber Wildcats on Wednesday.

Chilton County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coven Crumpton, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Stephen Cromer also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Chilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Har-Ber, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Chilton County Tigers take on Foley Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Har-Ber, they will take on Mortimer Jordan in a tournament on Thursday.
