Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Allen Park Jaguars, falling 61-39. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 641st, while the Jaguars are ranked 144th).

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Allen Park, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Allen Park beat Roosevelt by a score of 61-39 on Monday.
