Baseball Recap: Pleasant Valley Find Success

After losing to Assumption the last time they met, Pleasant Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Spartans came out on top against the Knights by a score of 7-3 on Monday.

Pleasant Valley's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Assumption, they moved to 16-9 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Pleasant Valley will welcome Iowa City at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Little Hawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. Assumption has already played their next game (against Beckman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
