Soccer Game Preview: Clarkston vs. Deer Park

The Clarkston Bantams will square off against the Deer Park Stags at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarkston's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Clarkston managed to keep up with Soldotna until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bantams came up short against the Stars, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, Deer Park lost 10-2 to Pullman last Thursday. While losing is never fun, Deer Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Pullman are ranked tenth).

Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Clarkston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
