Softball Recap: Dixie County Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Dixie County's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Bronson Eagles on Friday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Dixie County dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bronson, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dixie County will take on Union County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bronson, they will challenge Seven Rivers Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seven Rivers Christian has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with 11 straight losses, while Bronson will come in with three straight wins.
