Football Recap: Bishop Blanchet Takes a Loss

Bishop Blanchet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Rainier Beach Vikings, falling 50-10. The Bears lost against the Vikings in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 33-27 score last time.

Bishop Blanchet's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Rainier Beach, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Bishop Blanchet will look to defend their home field on Friday against Garfield at 7:00 p.m. The Bears will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rainier Beach, they will take on Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Roughriders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
