Volleyball Recap: Sweetwater Find Success

Sweetwater had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Seymour Panthers 2-1.

Mallory Gibson paced Sweetwater's offense, picking up 14 kills. Gibson were helped by Sophia Valdez and Charlie Garcia, who contributed 14 assists each. Kieran Sisk and Alexis Heredia-Gonzales kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Sweetwater's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Seymour, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Sweetwater has already played their next matchup (against Electra), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Seymour, they will challenge Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
