Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask College Prep & Leadership Academy). They really took it to the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-31 win. The Royals pushed the score to 62-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals cut but never quite recovered from.

College Prep & Leadership Academy's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from MacKenzie Dumbuya, who went 7 for 14 on her way to 20 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Holmes, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 16 points and four steals.

Cornerstone Charter lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaylen Williamson, who posted six points and 12 rebounds. Williamson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played. Maloree Walthaw was another key player, putting up eight points.

College Prep & Leadership Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Cornerstone Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

College Prep & Leadership Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-36 victory against Phoenix Academy on the 8th. As for Cornerstone Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-7 win against Winston-Salem Prep on the 9th.
