Griffin Long was a major factor in Morrice's win over Genesee on Thursday. Long made a splash, striking out nine batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only one hit. He played a big game the last time he faced Genesee on Thursday, so the team probably should've seen him coming. Long has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
