West Davidson won the last time they faced North Davidson and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Black Knights.

West Davidson's got stronger as the match went on, holding North Davidson to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 25-16.

Alex Hester paced West Davidson's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hester got some help from Emoree Terry and her 27 assists. Terry was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The victory got West Davidson back to even at 1-1. As for North Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

After both having extra time off, West Davidson and Oak Grove will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Davidson, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against North Wilkes on the 14th.
