Volleyball Recap: Stony Point Comes Up Short

Stony Point lost against Royse City back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Stony Point actually scored more points across those three sets (69-67), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 17-25, 25-22.

Stony Point's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Royse City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stony Point will host Round Rock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Royse City, they will face off against Grapevine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
