Lake Charles College Prep took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Jennings, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Lake Charles College Prep won by a run and slipped past Jennings 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trailblazers have posted since February 18th.

Lake Charles College Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. Jennings' defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-12.
