Basketball Recap: Ridgeland Takes a Loss

Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were dealt a 62-29 defeat at the hands of the Heritage Generals. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Generals are ranked 41st).

Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Heritage, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Ridgeland will head out on the road to square off against Northwest Whitfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage has already played their next match, a 55-32 victory against Ringgold on the 25th.
