King owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They skirted past the Clovis North Broncos 1-0. The one-run effort marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for King and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Clovis North, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-1.

King wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-5 win against Hollister on the 13th. As for Clovis North, they will square off against Willow Glen at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
