Basketball Recap: Niwot Comes Up Short

Niwot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Centaurus Warriors 55-22. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Rohit Das and Archer Buckbee, who each put up five points.

Centaurus' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jt Falzone, who posted 11 points. Jack Lyle was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 10 points and seven boards.

Niwot's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Centaurus, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Niwot didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-53 defeat against Mead on the 24th. As for Centaurus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-40 loss against Fairview on the 24th.
