Softball Recap: Cedar Reds vs. Canyon View Falcons
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Snow Canyon, Cedar was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Canyon View Falcons. For Cedar, this counts as revenge for the 7-0 loss Canyon View walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.
Sadie Parson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Parson has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Parson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a home run.
Parson wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Marley Geddes, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
