Basketball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

West Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 53-44 to the Corinth Warriors. The Green Wave were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 40-29.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Corinth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point will welcome Lafayette at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Corinth, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. Pontotoc will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Corinth surely won't give up without a fight.
