Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Riordan Comes Up Short

Archbishop Riordan lost against Lincoln back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Archbishop Riordan took Lincoln into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 15-25, 21-25, 15-8.

Archbishop Riordan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season.

Archbishop Riordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will welcome San Mateo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
