Volleyball Recap: Maize Takes a Loss

Maize lost against Eisenhower on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

Maize started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Maize's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Eisenhower, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Maize has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Kapaun Mt. Carmel on the 20th. As for Eisenhower, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Northwest on the 20th.
