Basketball Recap: Clarke Takes a Loss

Clarke lost against Clarinda back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Clarke Indians were dealt a 68-14 loss at the hands of the Clarinda Cardinals. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Clarke and nudges their season record down to 2-11. As for Clarinda, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Clarke wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-31 defeat against Albia on the 24th. As for Clarinda, they will take on Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Clarinda surely won't give up without a fight.
