Football Game Preview: Riverdale Rams vs. Hall Red Devils

The Riverdale Rams will square off against the Hall Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverdale is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On Friday, Riverdale came up short against Newman Central Catholic and fell 24-14. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hall took a blow against Monmouth-Roseville on Friday, falling 57-14. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Titans are ranked 125th).

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Hall, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Riverdale took their win against Hall when the teams last played back in October of 2016 by a conclusive 40-14 score. In that matchup, the Rams amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
