Warhill won the last time they faced New Kent and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warhill Lions strolled past the New Kent Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 47-33. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warhill to victory, but perhaps none more so than D'Shela Walker, who posted 19 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Walker has scored at least a third of Warhill's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taleah James, who had nine points and five steals.

Warhill's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for New Kent, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warhill and Woodside will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for New Kent, they will challenge Poquoson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
