Softball Preview: Nokomis Redskins vs. Pawnee Indians
The Nokomis Redskins will head out on the road to square off against the Pawnee Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nokomis' favor is that they have posted big run totals in their last three matchups.
In what's become a running theme this season, Nokomis gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Shelbyville with a sharp 11-2 victory.
Reaghan Jonas made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). Jonas has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
