Vance County is a perfect 8-0 against Durham School of the Arts since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Vipers will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Vance County will be strutting in after a win while Durham School of the Arts will be coming in after a loss.

Vance County barely beat Southern School of Energy and Sustainability the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vipers were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Spartans on Friday. The Vipers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Durham School of the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Carrboro, falling 17-1.

Durham School of the Arts saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aset Fields, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Durham School of the Arts' loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Vance County, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.

Vance County took their victory against Durham School of the Arts in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 18-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vipers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
