Basketball Recap: Omaha R Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Omaha R won the last time they faced Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H and things went their way on Friday too. The Omaha R Roadrunners came out on top against the Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H Hornets by a score of 47-38. Given the Roadrunners' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 94th in Nebraska, while the Hornets are ranked 227th in Arkansas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was PJ Hillabrand, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Blake Greer, who earned ten points.

Omaha R's record is now 8-3. As for Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Omaha R has already played their next contest, a 52-35 victory against Wichita Defenders HomeSchool on the 24th. As for Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-62 loss against Tournament Opponent on the 25th.
