Brennen Newton Game Report: @ Avon Lake

Brennen Newton won't forget Tuesday's matchup any time soon: he posted double-digit points for the first time in his career. He went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points, but sadly Midview still had to take a 61-53 loss at the hands of Avon Lake. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best, set on December 3rd, when he had two points and ten assists (Gamescore: 10.8 vs. 6.6).

Newton and Midview will take on Berea-Midpark in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Newton will face off against Tyson Clay, the Titans' star point guard. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
