Baseball Recap: Falkville Comes Up Short

Falkville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 22-13 to the Hanceville Bulldogs. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Peyton Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring four runs while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Denver Comstock, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.

Falkville's record is now 4-21. As for Hanceville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

As of now, neither Falkville nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
