Whitmer has gone 7-2 against Perrysburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will host the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Whitmer 14, Perrysburg 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

Whitmer took a loss when they played away from home back in October, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 35-3 win over Perrysburg. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Whitmer's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joey Morales, who rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Another back making a difference was Jamon Holmes, who rushed for 61 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Whitmer was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 274 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 195 rushing yards in eight consecutive contests.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Whitmer's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Zack Aubry, Dominic Arent, and Brannon Dempsey, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Perrysburg pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.2 points on average over those games. As for Whitmer, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
