While Goodpasture Christian's win against University School of Nashville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Tigers 3-2 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Goodpasture Christian wouldn't go down easily and took University School of Nashville into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 21-25, 22-25, 15-8.

Klyne Davis had a dynamite game, getting 17 digs and eight assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isabella Shaw, who had ten digs and two aces.
