Softball Recap: George West's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

George West's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Aransas Pass Panthers 8-6. This was a revenge game for the Longhorns: when they faced off against the Panthers back in March, they had to take a 15-1 loss.

The Longhorns are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Aransas Pass, they will challenge Mathis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
