Brayden Brown Turns in Season-Best Performance
Ephrata was led to victory by Brayden Brown, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Brown rushed for 77 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries.
Lebanon had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Brown it was a similar story. Brown rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only five carries the last time he and the Cedars duked it out back in September of 2023.

Sawyer Esbenshade Delivers Electric Performance Vs Exeter Township
Sawyer Esbenshade was instrumental in extending Conestoga Valley's winning streak to nine on Friday. Esbenshade did his part (and then some), throwing for 267 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 45 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Conestoga Valley pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Esbenshade and Conestoga Valley will take on Muhlenberg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jayden Zandier Dazzles in Exeter Township Defeat
Exeter Township had to settle for second on Friday, but Jayden Zandier sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the defeat, Zandier was still balling out as he rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending a pass.
Conestoga Valley's probably not too fond of Zandier given he always seems to get the better of them. Zandier rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Buckskins duked it out back in October of 2023.

Caleb Grant Makes It Two for Ephrata
The second Ephrata player making an appearance here is Caleb Grant, and for good reason. He threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Grant has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 112.4 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 5.11 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 58.78 rushing yards.
