Softball Recap: Sedan Comes Up Short

Sedan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Central Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Devils have lost by exactly ten runs.

Sedan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jourdyn Mashburn, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Mashburn has hit this season. Adley Pappan was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Sedan's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Central, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

While Sedan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
