After a string of three wins, Daniel Boone's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 16-5 to the Science Hill Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Riley Croley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Daniel Boone's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Science Hill, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Daniel Boone will head out on the road to challenge West Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Science Hill, they will challenge Dobyns-Bennett at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
