Basketball Recap: Overfelt Comes Up Short

Overfelt lost against Hill back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Overfelt Royals fell 62-54 to the Hill Falcons. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Nicolas Huerta, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards for Hill. The dominant performance gave Huerta a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ernesto Ochoa, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards.

Overfelt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Hill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-14.

Overfelt is taking a road trip to take on Yerba Buena at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hill has already played their next contest (against Gunderson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
