Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Celeste). They blew past the Bland Tigers 17-7 on Thursday. Considering the Blue Devils have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Celeste and bumps their season record up to 11-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Bland, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Celeste will square off against Wolfe City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bland, they will face off against North Hopkins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
