Volleyball Game Preview: Colman-Egan C-E Hawks vs. St. Mary Cardinals

Colman-Egan has gone a perfect 10-0 against St. Mary recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The C-E Hawks will look to defend their home court against the Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Colman-Egan hadn't beaten Garretson on the road since October 27, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The C-E Hawks came out on top against the Blue Dragons by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the C-E Hawks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 20-25, 25-9.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Mary, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Elkton/Lake Benton 3-0 on Tuesday. The Cardinals not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 25-23.

St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Colman-Egan, their win bumped their record up to 21-5.

Colman-Egan came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Mary when the teams last played last Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. Will the C-E Hawks repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
