Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton and East Union squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hamilton had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Urchins by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Lions have suffered since April 8th.

This is the second loss in a row for Hamilton and nudges their season record down to 26-13. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for East Union, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 23 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Hamilton nor East Union have any future games scheduled.
